Ta-Da!!!

And here is the fruit of our labor!

Jason, Braden, and Landry built these 4 ft. x 4 ft. cedar boxes to use as raised beds for gardening! Landry and I put sealant on the wood, and we all got the ground cleared for our boxes. Two pick-up truck loads full of soil, compost, and mulch finished the job. We are super-excited to watch things grow out in our garden. Now I need to get busy figuring out what to plant, how to keep it alive, and when to harvest!

My suggestions? Tomatoes, black-eyed peas, mint, rosemary, and basil. Actually, do one plant of all the herbs you cook with. Much cheaper than buying and you'll have it fresh all year around!
