Jason and I got the best gift we could ever ask for last night: Braden prayed to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior last night!
Braden is a thinker. He takes his time processing things before he even asks a question. We knew as Mom and Dad that he was gettting close. His prayers have really matured, and he has said many things related to salvation that tipped us off that he was almost ready. Braden said he "got that feeling" during the Pledge at school Friday morning.
We did somewhat of an interview last night to make sure he understands salvation, that Jesus is the only way, and our call as disciples. He nailed it, and we sat in the living room floor and prayed with him! I can't tell you what a sweet feeling this is as a parent! We are so proud of Braden. He is really growing up, and I know that God is going to do great things through him!
