Did anyone else do the bookworm challenge as a kid? My mom would make us a book worm every summer to try to get us to read on our own. If you imagine a simple s-shaped worm with several dividing lines along his body. When you fill in all of those segments with a completed book, then you get some kind of cool reward. Braden has taken the bait! He enjoys reading so much, which makes me just as proud as any baseball achievement!
He has read 3 big books- like 200 pages- since the beginning of school. Granted, his books do have pictures, but this is still a great accomplishment! I think it is ironic that he wants his reward to be a video game for the Wii! Hmmm?

YES, i was the same way. That is so cool! One of the best things you can do for a child! :) So cool.
