Happy Easter

The kids had Easter parties at school Thursday, and I was able to make both Braden's and Landry's party. Landry had an egg hunt followed by a family picnic. We had packed a lunch to share that morning, and I toted a blanket and lawn chair up to the school. She was sad that I wasn't taking her home after the party, but Mrs. Evans saved me by telling her that the kids that didn't go home with their parents would have something special in the classroom!

Braden also had an egg hunt. It was so windy that day, and most kids had to hold their egg cartons with two hands so they wouldn't blow away. Braden looks so big among his other classmates, and they all treat him like a big brother. His teacher bragged and bragged on him at the party. I told Jason what all she said later, and he told me that teachers say that to all parents. No way, I didn't believe that one.

So, here are those beautiful Karnes kids on Easter morning! Aren't they perfect!!
