Easter Sunday was awesome! We took Tripp to church for the first time (early service). Even the early service was crowded for Easter, but Tripp slept through the whole thing! The kids did a small Easter Egg Hunt after the service, which made for our 3rd and final egg hunt of the year!
Jason and I had planned on having a turkey dinner. I got two turkeys for Christmas bonuses, so what better time to use them, right! Jason's mom came over Saturday and helped us make up the dressing. I've never made it and didn't even have a clue what went in dressing until she told me! Sunday we had all the fixin's along with a few extra things Jason picked up from Food Network! We had a great company- my dad and stepmom, Jason's parents, and his sister. Afterward we decided that this could easily become tradition because it was a great dinner, and just a great afternoon.
Everything is going good. Tripp has not been sleeping as long at night, so I'm hoping he'll get back on track with that. He's still just an excellent baby. He's starting to smile and it looks like he's going to have Jason's dimples. I really hope he has his brown eyes too, but time will just have to tell on that one. I love Jason's eyes, so I was hoping that one of our kids would get them. Speaking of eyes, Braden's are anywhere from blue to green to gray, depending on what he is wearing. I'm going to post more pictures on picture trail if you want to check them out. (the link is below)
