Two Sheeps

We had what seemed to be an impromptu family reunion last night. We thought we were going over to Jason's aunt's house to see a few relatives from Houston. When we got there, there were tons of cars in the the driveway, and we soon realized that more than our little crew was looking forward to seeing the "Houston Bunch." Landry had just woken up from a long nap, so she was super-bashful and quiet when we went inside Tim and Peggy's (this was heightened with all the new faces inside). We had been there probably 30 minutes, and she was still holding onto my leg. She leaned over to me and inquisitively asked in a very confused 4-year old way, "Momma, why are there two sheeps in Peggy's house?" Part of the Houston bunch had brought there twin poodles, that through a 4-year old's eyes looked very much like a couple of little sheep!! Everyone got a big kick out of her comment, so they dogs were referred to as "sheeps" for the rest of the night!
We've had a great Spring Break. We got to go see Horton Hears A Who yesterday, and it is a very cute kid movie. Landry was captivated for the entire movie, which is unheard of for her. Braden and Landry have been playing outside for much of the break, and I actually put sunscreen on them today!! We also borrowed the Wii from Nana and Pa-paw, so they have played that quite a bit too!
Today I went to Granbury by myself for a trip to the grocery store. Jason offered to go, but I just kind of wanted to get out. I thought I had it timed perfect to get home just in time to feed Tripp. However, there was a wreck on the Lake Granbury bridge that held me up quite a bit. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do about it when there is a wreck on 377! It all worked out though, I made it home just in time to feed the baby and Jason got to unload and put up the groceries by himself! He thought it was good timing that I was done feeding Tripp just about the time that he was done putting up groceries... Purely a coincidence was my claim!!
