Merry Christmas

We all had a great Christmas this year. The gatherings were spread out over four days, but it was tons of fun for the kids! They stocked up on all kinds of kid stuff from all the family. They seem to enjoy the dollar store toys just as much as the bigger priced items!

Jason and I didn't buy each other any gifts. We're really wanting a few big ticket items, like new cell phones and a laptop... so we are waiting a bit to make any of those purchases!

We've also been in the process of transitioning Landry's stuff over to Braden's room. They've been sleeping in the bunk beds since the day they were assembled. I've gotten most of Landry's closet shifted over to Braden's, but we'll have to get creative to make everything else fit! For some reason, I'm thinking Braden is not itching to have the kitchen and baby doll stuff in his room, but I guess he'll have to sacrifice!

Jason and I are officially addicted to this Yahoo word game called TextTwist. I consider it a good brain exercise, but don't try it unless you just want to get hoooked. Of course, Jason and the kids are off these two weeks. They love hanging out together, and the kids are getting some good rest. In fact, Landry slept in until 10:30 the day after Christmas. I guess you could say the 4 day Christmas officially exhausted her!!

All else is well. I am now going to the baby doctor every two weeks, with less than nine weeks left until the big day! I can't believe it is coming along so fast! I certainly look forward to the time at home with Tripp and Landry. I should get my full 12 weeks off, then Jason will be off for the entire summer!!!
