Braden and Landry got their first real experience of driving last night. We were over at Tim and Peggy's, and Tim had been pulling the kids in the little wagon behind the lawnmower. When he got off, he offered to let Braden drive. Evidently, our cautious boy was a little hesitant, but he ran inside and asked Jason if it was ok. We watched him out the window as he drove in 1st or 2nd gear. You should have seen him working that steering wheel over like an old lady! We went outside to watch, then you-know-who had to give it a try. Yes, Landry Beth was driving the mower around, towing Braden in the wagon/trailer!
What a great summer it has been! We went to a Rangers game Friday. The kids experience the "gigantic" field and all the treats: hot dog, nachos, peanuts, and cotton candy! Braden had a stomach-ache by the time we got home. He said, "Next time I'll get popcorn instead of cotton candy!" I never thought I'd see the day when they admitted to too much sugar!
