I never did like it when people used that crummy excuse of, "I just haven't had time to..." Well, here I am in 2007 wearing that phrase all over my forehead. My "new" job is 100 times busier than the last. I'm doing the same thing, but working for another company. Company number was basically paperless. All reports, data, billing, etc. was done by computer. Guess what, my new company has an agenda to keep the lumber companies in business! Very paper heavy. To offset that, they have let me hire an administrative assistant/rehab tech. She will work 4 hours a day and that should allow me to come up for air... she starts today!!
The kids are great. They are back into full preschool swing. They love their school, and that is such a good feeling as a mom. Since I do have to leave them somewhere while I'm at work, it sure is a blessing to not have worries about what is happening to them during the day.
Braden is wanting to play t-ball this spring. I was reading the exerpt from the newspaper about sign-ups. Braden's ears perked up quickly, and he announced that he IS playing t-ball this year! He bats the ball like a natural, left-handed too, but he has no clue about any other aspect of the game, i.e. running bases! Probably a good idea to get the fundamentals. I could see us entering him in little league in a few years: he hits a homer and runs the bases the wrong way!!
Landry is just Landry. She has her most needy times when I am around. Jason says she is a whole different creature when I'm around. That's because I'm special, right? Or easy? Aren't you supposed to baby your baby? She'll turn out just fine!
