Open House

We are having an open house tonight at my work. They are showing off the new "Medicare Wing." I put quotation marks because it has not yet transformed into a true medicare wing. The idea is to have all the rehab patients on one hall, those who are there to do therapy and go back home. Of course, it's hard to get all those people on that hall when the building is full, but we're getting there.

Landry is finally better. She is back in panties and has regular digestive processes! It was two full weeks of that mess! She does have a runny nose, but I'm hoping it's just allergies. Braden is doing well, too! He called me twice at work yesterday. He knows how to dial me by pushing '2' then 'send' on his daddy's cell phone!

My news is that I've officially signed up for a half marathon in November. That's 13 miles for those of you trying to do the math!! I've got a training schedule that looks very reasonable, and a running partner Tues-Thurs. The other days I'm on my own. Thank goodness for the iPod! I have several friends that have committed to do it, so we'll see how it turns out. That's about all I know for now.
