I made it to 30! Didn't even have creaky bones when I got out of bed yesterday. I don't figure 30 is old; we're just getting to the good part now! Jason and the kids surprised me with flowers at work, and I took off at lunch time. I got a good nap in my chair (with my new throw that Jason got me)! Then, Papa and Gram came over and took us to supper! What a good day, huh?!
My coolest gift is my new iPod. I've been wanting one ever since I started running. I had been carrying my old CD walkman for a while, but it skips so much that it wasn't worth the hassle. I went on my first run this morning with it and it is awesome! A friend of mine had made me a CD for my birthday, so I downloaded those songs onto the iPod this morning. Having the music sure made the time pass faster. I didn't look at my watch every 30 seconds!
We had a great 4th of July! The picture above was taken when we went to watch the fireworks. They were wonderful this year over the lake! Landry is feeling better. We went through the entire day with only one trip for #2 and it was fairly normal!! Yippee! Braden is Superman these days. He got to watch the original Superman movie the other day with Christopher Reeve as Superman. Here is a picture of his homemade Superman suit, all done by the super 4 year old!
