Busy week

I guess it was a pretty busy week. I couldn't tell you exactly what we've done, but it went by really fast! Wednesday night the kids and I went to the city pool while Jason played his softball game. That was an adventure that I don't want to re-live immediately. Without totally embarassing myself with the details, we'll just say that Braden had to be rescued by the lifeguard and Landry made a surprise in her swim suit. Lovely! Jason's team did win their game, that's two in a row for the Average Joe's!

Thursday evening we went to the Bluff Dale Family Golf Center. For those of you who don't know, Bluff Dale is just a pit stop along the highway between Tolar and Stephenville. I hit about 15 range balls, Braden probably hit at least 100, and Jason hit for almost 3 hours. Yes, Landry hit a few too! They are really nice people that own the driving range, and I'm sure they appreciated us staying until dark to hit balls! Yesterday, we learned that Braden used the five-finger discount on 3 range balls, so Jason had to talk to him about what stealing means. He'll have to take the balls back and apologize.

StoneWater had a street dance/concert last night. One of Jason's friends from high school has a country band, and they came and performed in Shanley Park (in Granbury). They were a great band and there was a great turnout. Jason and Landry danced a waltz which gave everyone a warm, fuzzy feeling. After that, people actually got out there and danced. It was kind of like junior high when you want to get out there, but you want to wait for someone else to do it first!

We don't have anything scheduled today (that I know of). Jason and I are going to play golf tomorrow. This will be the first time in about a year for me! We both wish that we could play together more often, but it's hard with the kids (plus it's double the price)! I've done my first week of half marathon training, 20 miles this week! That's all for now!
