Too bad I can't sing it for you online! It was a great weekend. Saturday held a shopping trip with two girls from church. I got some new running shoes and a few odds and ends (my Mother's Day gift). We rushed from there to my mom's to celebrate my brother's long-awaited graduation from college. It was also considered our Mother's Day get together. Two birds with one stone theory!
Sunday was great too. After church, we went to Jason's aunt's house for lunch. We spent the entire afternoon there, and that was totally relaxing for me. I don't have to keep my eyes on the kids as much there, so we played a little 42 and just hung out!
Monday meant back to the grind. I didn't go in until 9:00. I went for a run this morning and went extra long- 51 minutes! That set me back a little on my schedule! Jason bought a pallet of bermuda sod on his way home, so we did that tonight too. The fun never ends!
What you want to know? The kids are great! Braden is un-grounded. He was grounded from cartoons and softball because of the original "fit" on Tuesday night. He followed that up with bad behavior at school on Friday. Poor kid, he finally got a good note and got released this afternoon. Evidently, he was begging his teacher all day to write him a good note. Any time he started to act up, she said she'd get her pen out (as if to write a bad note) and he would straighten up in an instant! Landry is full of beans. She talks loud, screams loud, sings loud! She's constantly exercising her jaws and vocal cords. They are beautiful and perfect and sweet and precious! What more could I ask for?
