Goof-up

Today is the last day of school for Braden and Landry! They have so many little activities, events, and programs in the past few weeks that I got a little mixed up. I thought they were having Happy Meals yesterday for lunch. I had turned in their money and menus, and they were both excited to be getting McDonald's at school! As you can probably guess, I got the wrong day... Happy Meals are today! Don't worry, they didn't go hungry, the teachers fixed them some food from the church kitchen!

Braden is anxiously awaiting his birthday party. He talked me into getting him cupcakes (twist my arm) on his birthday. He was under the impression that he was having a party ON his birthday. I said he would get cake on Saturday and what did he say? "But, it's my birthday today!" Good point. He downed three chocolate cupcakes!

Landry is trying to learn to quiet down. Studies show that 40% of her speech comes out in song form, and the other 60% come out in a full holler! We are ALL working with that! She is precious, of course. I've been putting her hair in a big-girl pony tail, but I had to stop for a few days because she looks so big. Time flies, doesn't it?

Jason and I are hanging in. Seems like this is the busiest time of the year. He continues to remind people that he is about to have 72 days off! Nice, huh? My work is still slow which makes my days drag a little. Not much else to report for now!
