Ole Josie

Josie got saddled today for some free pony rides! Both of our kids got on the horse, which is utterly amazing since they panic when anything four-legged comes within ten feet! They had no fear at all, just got up there and rode like champs!

What a whirlwind of a few days. I feel like we have been house hopping since Wednesday. Friday night we had another turkey dinner with Jason's family. He and Braden slept over there, in the camper on Braden's request. (Me and sis came home.) We had breakfast with the Marshes this morning, then off to Mimi's house for the final turkey dinner. WOW! Jason estimated that he gained ten pounds over the weekend, and I'm guessing at least that for myself!

Back up to Friday morning... I decided that since I had to get up to go to work anyway, that I would go to the 5 a.m. Wal-Mart sale. In the back of my mind I knew it would be kind of crazy, but I still didn't expect the masses of people there to buy all the "specials". I got only a few things, mostly stuff for Braden. I should protest that all the good toy prices were for boy items. I'll have to get some stuff for Landry some other time. It was truly madness in there. People would have two carts stacked full of all these electronics, tv's, anything on sale. The sad thing is that Wal-Mart is still making a bundle off of all of us!!

Needless to say, I'm ready for the normalcy to kick back in. We had some great family time this weekend with all the siblings and grandparents. I can't believe all the Christmas lights already up. Jason and I talked about getting our tree out tomorrow after church! Fun, fun!
