As my Monday at work approaches, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. You see, my new PTA starts Friday. To date, I have been doing the job of two people- until she could get started. I will be so relieved! In a perfect world, here is what I would get done today: billing and payroll corrections for previous week, 2 meetings, 1 luncheon with a doctor in town, 4 new evaluations (that came in Friday evening), and of course see the other 13 people on caseload. Here's my revised plan: do what I can do and that's all I can do! Ok, I'm done complaining/whining, I just needed to get that out! I think my morale will improve greatly starting on Friday!
Jason shaved his goat last night, so they had a hard time getting used to that. I think Landry kind of likes it because she always got tickled by the facial hair. I love the goat, so I'm hoping for a quick regrowth. The plan was to shave it off to give it a fresh start. Sometimes Jason gets goat envy when he sees guys with a really thick goat. He doesn't understand that I don't want it that thick...mountain man is not sexy to me!
The kids are great. Braden told me to simmer down yesterday, with hand gestures and everything! Landry's just perfect. We had to have a household search for the Incredible "fop-flops" in the middle of the Cowboy game. Thank goodness for Tivo! Anyway, I found them outside and order was restored to her little life! Braden wasn't excited about going to bed last night, so he used his stalling tactics. He came in our bathroom twice, once for each duty, although nothing was expelled either time. Then he came to our bedroom a final time to let us know the phone had rung. Thanks B!
