Unbelievable

Let me tell you how smooth my Monday went. You know, I was really dreading the day because I knew how much I was going to be faced with. At about 10:00, my area manager called and said he was about 10 minutes away. I thought, uh-oh, I've screwed up somewhere and he is coming to get on my case. Oh no, he was coming to meet with the administrator about an issue not involving me (whew!), and then while he was there he thought he'd help me out with some of my business issues that have been pushed aside while I've been seeing patients... Score! Then at about 11:00, a PTA from another facility called to say her load was light today and she could come help if I needed it. Another score! The whole day went like this, no major hang-ups, it was beautiful. Thank you, Lord!

Landry's day started off not-so-pretty. When I went in to get her, she had a huge spot of blood on her sheet, and I immediately thought of her ear again. Nope, the nose. Poor baby had crusty blood from her chin to her forehead. After a quick bath, she looked like new again. I still don't know what that was all about, but if her nostrils are as dry as mine are I can see why they would bleed.

Braden is good. Another Monday without a nap had him asleep in the carseat on the way home! His request for supper last night a bologna sandwich- cut in a circle- with jelly to dip it in. Eek! He ate it too, followed by enchiladas and beans! That's my boy.

Hey Karnes Family!
I was deleting old emails and found one with this web site on it. It was great to see you and Jason. Wow, both of you are skinny! Your kids are darling. I had to look through the archives to find some good pics of the kids. That is how I found out you didn't say hi when you were in BCS! That was soooo hot that day. We had our top '06 kid in (committed). Anyway, it sounds like you are doing well and I am happy for you. Say hi to Jason and your folks. Miss you and love you, Coach
