Well, all of the sudden this is my last day at SMART. It was supposed to be Friday, but they scheduled Mammaw's funeral for Friday morning. I am sad to leave my friends. There are several that I will really miss, and hopefully keep in touch with. I certainly won't miss the drive. It seems to have been worse since I am taking the kids to Crosstown in the mornings. I am on the road about 15-20 minutes later, and the traffic is exponentially worse! Most of all, I'll miss Gwen. She is one of those friends who understands you seemingly at any kind of a moment. She can laugh with you, cry with you, whatever you need at a given time. Everyone needs someone like her, and to have her at work is just great since we spend so much time together! She's a blog fan too, so I already miss you Gwenny!
We watched the season premiere of Lost last night. That is my one show that I am faithful to. It is really the only one that I watch on a consistent basis, and we'll definitely Tivo it if we are not able to watch at the set time! Tivo is the best by the way. I moaned and groaned about paying the extra $5 for it at first, but once I saw the beauty of it, I have complained no more! It is absolutlely perfect for parents of young children. We will pause it while putting the kids to bed, and Jason replays commercials and sports plays all the time. Talk about instant replay! Definitely a good thing to set into your monthly budget!
Braden prayed last night that he would get bigger, and that he can do puzzles at school! You never know what they have on their mind. Landry Beth takes advantage of her time with me by literally hanging on my leg as soon as I get home. Yesterday, she wrapped around my leg like a little monkey as I walked from the kitchen to my closet. She laughed the whole way in there as I made ooh-ooh ahh-ahh sounds! Fun, fun!
