It was a rare thing, but I was kind of a Stepford wife yesterday. I say kind of because I did go in to work, and I don't think a Stepford wife ever worked outside the home! Anyway, I got home yesterday and started cooking, cleaning and doing laundry. By the time Jason got home, I had meatloaf ready. Somehow it has become one of my signature meals- with mashed potatoes of course- but it is my mother-in-law's recipe. We ate a great supper and had the kids bathed by 6:00 pm! Now, I could handle doing that every day!
I got word that my mugshot made it in my hometown newspaper yesterday. I am being inducted into the high school athletic Hall of Fame in Stephenville September 2. They'll have a day full of activities ending with a presentation at halftime of the football game. That will be the easy part, the harder part will be the luncheon where I get to speak. I'm gonna start working on that pretty soon!
Landry got a scraped-up eye yesterday. The report was that she fell off the porch at Paula's house.

Braden was telling us at the supper table that he spent most of his afternoon hunting the dinosaurs at Paula's house. We asked him if Nolan was hunting too (this is his favorite friend over there), but he said that Nolan was just inside. Braden told us that he had his gun and he was looking for all the green dinosaurs! Great imagination.
Gotta go get ready for work!!
