Darn the gas prices

I think there has finally been the trickle-down effect of the gas prices. Theory: everyone is spending more money on gas and now they don't have money for other stuff. The trickle down that I've seen lately is that our census is LOW at the clinic in Ft. Worth. That's the indirect thing to blame anyway! Not to say that our lack of any marketing or advertising doesn't help either. Oh well, we'll just see what happens.

Braden is on a short leash these days. We've been disappointed that his behavior is not as good since he's been going back to the babysitter. He's more hyper, less attention span, less obedience... but still just the sweetest little guy when you get him to settle down. I read that when a kid is in a daycare situation that they produce more cortisol- which is basically one of the fight or flight hormones. So, now we've got a boy high on his own system's steroids! It's really not that bad, but he is different since he's been going back.

Not much else is new. Have I mentioned how pleased I am with the early bedtimes?? Oh, the beauty of an 8-hour sleep!
