Fun kids

I got to take the kids to the babysitter yesterday morning. That meant they had to get up earlier than normal, which I was thinking might be a little problem for the princess. She was actually in a great mood when I woke her up! Braden was a little harder to wake up, but he wasn't grumpy at all. Wow- this was starting off right. When I was driving them to the babysitter, I just turned the radio off and listened to them in the back seat. Landry is talking good enough to carry on some semblance of a conversation with Braden... of course, he understand what she is saying before she even says it! Landry would keep saying moon and pointing out the window. Braden would tell her "the moon is not out" and she'd rebuttal with a big, sassy "no". When we turned on Paula's road, Landry said "Pawa". Cool, she can say her name! Anyway, we get out of the van and Braden says, "Oh, the moon is out, there it is." Sure enough, the big moon was high and bright. Maybe Landry knew what she was talking about after all! Dropoff was easy, no tears, no objections. Whew!

Work was great. I am going to have a PT student for the next 8 weeks on Monday and Wednesday. She is almost done with school, plus she was a PTA for 6 years before going to school. Score! I should be having some serious down time coming up!!

Nana, Kayci, and Kayli came by on their way home from Ft. Worth. I got to see some sonogram pictures of my next niece or nephew. Kayci and Bryon didn't want to know the sex of the baby. They are due in early January. Nana did some fall clothes shopping for the kids, so they've got some cute outfits for cooler weather... if that ever comes!

In bed before 9, I'm not sure I could have asked for a smoother Monday! We all deserve one of those every once in a while!
