Finger size

Braden enlightened us last night. Jason was trying to wipe a booger off the bottom of Braden's nostril when Braden said, "Your finger is too big." Then B plunged his index finger right up to his own nostril as if to prove that his fits much better!

We talked to Braden last night about how daddy is going to have to go back to school in a couple of weeks, and to remind him about going to Paula's house. Didn't phase him. He asked a few times if he is going to Paula's tomorrow! This is progress, because the first time we talked about it, he cried that he wanted to stay home. I think Miss Landry Beth will not be so happy about going back. She sure has gotten close to her daddy this summer, close enough that she prefers him to lay her down at night over me (not that I am bitter!). They kind of had a slow start, but their relationship has blossomed this summer.

Braden prayed for Jenna again last night. I'm sure as a 3-year old that he doesn't understand the severity of her eczema, but he does understand that it makes her feel bad. Braden has such a tender heart, and I really think he feels sympathy for her. I could be wrong and be overestimating the complexity of my little man, but I think he is really concerned for her. It makes me proud to see some of his daddy's tender-hearted-man in him already! That's what most women want, but not what most men are willing to reveal!
