Evidently, Jason had to re-teach that Braden is to use the crayon only on paper yesterday. I got home and Braden showed me what he did. He used his blue crayon and marked up the top of our ottoman pretty good. Braden told me the whole story of how it all went down. He even told me that he got one pop instead of two because he told the truth. I asked him if it was a big pop or a little pop, and he said it was a little pop. Sometimes its good to come in when that kind of thing has already been handled and everyone is over it. It sure made my reaction minimal!
We went to eat supper last night at Cotton Patch. It was wonderful! I had the veggie platter, and they couldn't have been any better. Plus, you get fresh rolls, and most people know that keeps me happy! Landry Beth was a little rebel child the whole time we were there. She was saying "out" as soon as we strapped her in the high chair. She ate a little bread, but that's all. She wouldn't eat any of my veggies, which is not like her at all. I fixed her own little bowl of corn, green beans, broccoli rice casserole, and carrots thinking she wanted to do it herself. She ate maybe 3 kernels of corn, then started throwing it down on the floor. Sissy priss! Braden got a cookie with his kids' meal, and he shared some of that with her. Oh yes, she ate the cookie! Rotten, rotten, rotten.
On the way home, we exited just past the lake. I asked Jason where we were going and Braden says, "This is the way to Nana's house." Isn't he sharp! We visited out there for a while, then came home. I was in a crummy mood, and I always regret it. But it's one of those hormonal things that I just couldn't help. Most chicks know what I'm talking about. Sometimes when you are at a certain point in your cycle, you have to really work to be sweet! I don't like that at all, mostly because I want to be sweet all the time, and I sure don't want to have to work at it. Good thing is, it's usually only one day of grumpy bear, then I'm back to my sweet self!! Anyway, enough of my personal struggles with estrogen!!
Have a great day!!
