So, our date. We went to War of the Worlds and I thought it was absolutely wonderful. I am totally not the sci-fi fan, but I did want to see it. When we got out of the movie, I told Jason that I found myself all tensed up at times. I guess I was trying to make sure they saved the world!! Then we went to dinner at El Chico. It was nice for us because we didn't have the kids. Of course, I noticed all the other kids/babies interrupting their parents' dinners. That sounds pretty cold, but it's a wee-bit challenging to go out to eat with a couple of kiddos. Family dinners at home are much more manageable in my opinion.
We have our nightly routine with Braden's bedtime: he hides from Jason (in the same place every time), we read a book of his choice, then we say our prayers. We each say our own prayer, but Braden decides who goes first. I'll probably include some of the excerpts of his prayers in my blogs in order to make you smile! Last night, Braden thanked God for: the swingset, the playhouse, going to Jeremy's house, mama, daddy, and sis (sis got mentioned twice). He has to start his prayer with "God in heaven" and end it with "in Jesus name", and if you forget to ask for forgiveness of your sins- he'll call you on it right then and there.
Until next time...
