Family Weekend

The Granbury Pirates are back on the win column after this weekend! The boys won a tournament in Irving, going undefeated for a much-needed turnaround! Braden is getting so tall that he needs to start standing beside his coach rather than in front!


This boy literally and figuratively looks up to his daddy in everything! Jason is the best dad in the world! We had a great dinner out then went to see Soul Surfer. If you haven't seen that movie, then you must get to a movie theater and tune in. What a great, inspirational, and values-centered movie!

Tripp would make a good pool marshall. He's not crazy about getting in, but he likes to be all around the action!

The kids were so excited that we stayed in a hotel with an indoor pool! We stayed Friday and Saturday night for a mini-vacation. I think this was our first "trip" as a family since Jason started his Master's program!

Here's our first baseman and slugger deluxe. The boys wore one pant leg up and one pant leg down in the first game, and of course that lasted for the weekend as they kept winning. I guess even 8 year old baseball players are superstitious!
