San Antonio!

We had what some people might think was an awkward lineup for our mini-vacation to San Antonio: Me, the kids, and Jason's parents. Did you notice, no Jason? It's a long story, but essentially we have to blame it on school! Might I add, though, that he got his grades on the day we returned... and he nailed a 4.0 for the summer!!

So, we stayed at an RV resort from Tuesday to Friday. Jason's parents are the most generous people with their time, efforts, and money to haul us down there and hang out with us all week! We went to Sea World one day, which was a wonderful experience for the kids. They got to feed and touch the dolphins, see the Shamu show, and rides tons of water rides. The climax of the day is when Braden rode one ride that earned him $23 on a double-or-nothing bet with Jason! (Landry rode it too, but her adventurous-ness was never in question.)

Another day we spent some time at Malibu Castle, which is a bumper boat, mini-golf, go cart, batting cage, and arcade place. The place was actually pretty old and run-down, but I don't think the kids even noticed!! Much of our time was spent in the pool at the RV park. It is a huge pool with plenty of shade, and it was right across from our RV spot. What a fun trip! And definitely something the kids will remember!

Notice that Braden's feet are way up by his head as he falls through the tube!

His goal right now is to look like Maverick from Top Gun!

Truly, this is our treasure!

Tripp "drove" this car at poolside.

The kids with Nana and Pa-paw at the Shamu show.

Landry was quite the putter. She had a hole-in-one, even with little man standing in her way!
