I think I may be the only one, but I've been thankful for TAKS testing this week. Braden did not have any baseball games because of TAKS. (His age group does not take the test, but they hold all games during the week of TAKS.) Landry had to go to the doctor this morning and it was dead in the pediatrician's office. Why? Of course, I asked. They said, as if I was crazy for not knowing, "It's TAKS week, nobody wants their kids to miss any school."
I'm sure there are plenty of teachers out there who would like to choke me right now for thinking the TAKS stress had a positive impact on my week!
