Know a Good Therapist?

First of all, thanks to those of you who knew about my back and lifted me up in prayer.

I went to the neurosurgeon today and I was extremely nervous. I have been very anxious that he would want to operate on me. I even took off the whole day just in case I got the bad news that he would like to operate. I knew that I would be upset if that had been the case. Following a two-hour wait (good thing I took off the whole day), I finally went back. After the normal doctor's office routine, Dr. Kaufman came in to talk with me. He was very nice and apologized for the long wait (evidently they had issues with the patient prior to me). He showed me the films and clearly showed the problem and explained using a model of the back. He recommended a conservative approach and wants me to do Physical Therapy for six weeks and then come back and see him. I was ecstatic! And I even know a great PT. I bet I can even get a discount. If I am still having issues after six weeks he mentioned injections, but did not mention surgery. I didn't utter a word about that either. He knew I didn't want to go that route if at all possible.

Thank you God that I am able to walk, play baseball with my children, dance in the kitchen with my wife, and work. I pray that You use therapy to heal my back.

Praise the Lord! By the way, the other day out of the blue, Jan told me that Jen had been her PT. She sang her praises as a PT and a wonderful woman. God can work miracles! Hope you feel better.
