My dear friend Sara recommended my most recent reading project, which was my first Kindle project: Russian Dance. I guess my problem is that I am terribly judgmental. I won't give away the entire story, but it is centered around a character that leaves her daughter in New York to be with her lover in Russia. True story, by the way! I never could like that mother enough, because I just couldn't get over the fact that she left her only child! She found herself in horrendous circumstances in Moscow, worse than she ever imagined. I woke up in the middle of a dream at 4:40 a.m. today, myself being trapped in a communist country with no hope of returning to America!! Yes, I get a little too involved sometimes!
If it were based on a 5 star system, I give it a 2.5. It was good, but not great. I could put it down without my mind being captivated with what might come next. It did pierce my subconscious, evidently, by transforming my dream content. If it were a movie, I'd say wait for it to come out on DVD. For a book, I suppose that means to buy a used copy. With the criticism given, I still recommend taking the time to read it. That's my two-cents worth.
