Mimi (that's my mom) made Tripp this "barn" for his birthday. It is basically a cover for a card table that she has decorated like a barn. My brother and I had one when we were kids, and I remember spending countless hours in there playing with farm and ranch toys! I hope he gets half the enjoyment from it that I did as a child, and maybe he'll even remember it as an adult!
Tripp was saying "Party Cake" and "Prednunts" (presents in adult speak) most of the day yesterday! He turned two years old on March 3!
He and I were by ourselves for a short while in the afternoon. Just long enough for him to dial 911 on the phone... and hit the talk button. The Hood County Sheriff's office attempted to call right back, but he was still busy playing with the phone so it went to the answering machine. They called again, and thankfully I had confiscated the phone by then. As soon as Jason got in, I told him we might have a visitor sooon. Sure enough, there was a very kind deputy that came out to survey the situation. I think she totally understood the call when she met our Tripp!
We had birthday cake for Tripp at our Lifegroup. He is a true joy to us and so many others! Happy Birthday Bones!
