Hallo-weeners

Buzz Lightyear, Snow White, and the Mighty Hunter went out to Pecan Plantation for Halloween this year. I guess we officially have a tradition since we have done this two years in a row now. Our friends, the O'Conners, have a family connection to get in the gate at Pecan. Then, we all meet at her parents' house and go on a hayride throughout the community. It's great fun for the kids because they get to go to plenty of houses without wearing themselves out. Tripp loved the trailer ride and the diesel pickup that was pulling the trailer!

The O'Conners made a huge pot of chili before the trick-or-treating. Then, we enjoyed their firepit afterward while the kids stayed inside watching movies. It made for a great Halloween; the night was beautiful with the full moon out!

The lack of blog posts... well, a combination of factors. I've not been very interested in turning on the computer lately. We also had a lifegroup challenge to avoid the TV and computers for 3 days out of a week to promote more family time. Add that to the normally "busy" schedule, and that equals no blogging!

In a nutshell, all is well. Tripp has had a couple of ear infections, Braden has had one too, and Landry Beth has been healthy as a horse. Baseball/T-ball season is over for the fall. Landry's team went undefeated, while Braden's team was mostly defeated! Tripp is in the midst of a bedtime resistance phase, so that is no fun. Not much else to report for today!

p.s. Thanks to the Hapes for handing down the Buzz Lightyear suit!
