Kids' Honesty

I had brought home some cinnamon rolls from Ginger Brown's yesterday, and everyone had one after supper last night except Landry. I had told her this morning she could have one tonight. Ok, so there were three left and I let her pick which one she wanted. Everyone was in the kitchen because we were almost finished unloading groceries. She declared, "I want this one!" I held out the plate, and Jason placed that exact one on it and said, "That looks like a good choice." She snapped back so quick with the honest truth, "It was the biggest one I could find!" The way she said it was just hilarious, a little Forrest Gumpish with a little Tolar twang added to her sweet little almost-5-year-old voice! You see, it's the little things that make life so fun! We all just laughed a good belly laugh!

By the way, Tripp has two clear ears!! Whew, praise God! The ENT said we will consider that one nasty organism causing all his troubles over the past two months. We are so glad to have our little guy back in a good mood and sleeping all night! So sorry it took 5 antibiotics and 2 months, but we're thankful all the same!

Braden had his first drop-off tonight. We dropped him at a church-sponsored party at the Jumping Party. It's a huge building full of big bounce houses and slides. He was so proud to be dropped off "by himself!"
