Jason and the kids are excused from school today due to the icy roads! Thank goodness because we get ulcers over icy roads! We had a wreck in South Dakota several years ago, and Jason has never been the same since. It was one of those things where you really think you're about to die, see your life flash before your eyes, all that. Then some way, some how the cable guard kicks you back to the shoulder of the road and everyone's fine... physically, that is! Long story short, we don't do icy roads!
The kids are close to reaching cabin fever stage. They got out early yesterday and have been inside for over 24 hours. We were going to avoid movie-watching today, but Jason and I just shipped the big kids to their room for a movie. You see, we were trying to read, relax, and enjoy some quiet. Landry is trying to spell everything in the dictionary, of course asking us to spell words letter by letter. Braden is shooting guns, punching the air, and sword fighting imaginary warriors. Ok, movies aren't so bad after all, why don't y'all go to your room and watch a movie!! Bad mom, maybe, but I think they'll be ok!

We are SO with you! Among spelling, checking what has been spelled, working Webkinz world, and "look," "watch," and the verbal play by play we get of they just did when we SAW them do it...MOVIE TIME!
