With Mobility...

Accidents follow. Imagine a fast-moving little almost-9-month-old crawling through our house in an adventurous mood. When Tripp gets in the kitchen, his first move is to pull down the towel hanging on the oven door. Next is to open the drawer underneath the oven and bang on the pans. If the dishwasher door is open, he's on top of the door in no time! Next is to grab the foam mat in front of the sink and attempt to chew on it, but mom refuses that move! Yuk! If I'm gonna be that way, he's out. That's when the fun begins: he's off to the big kids' room, the bathroom, etc. to find something else to get into. Yesterday he got his fingers shut in the door as the kids went outside, pulled the step ladder over on himself, and tried to eat two cherries from the Hi-Ho Cherry-O game! That's not to mention having pulled the cookbook rack over on top of himself the day before! Sounds like a hazardous home, huh? He's just everywhere, and he gets there fast! He's pulling up on everything, and he's started cruising from one piece of furniture to another. I predict an early walker!!
