Lemonade Stand

The kids started their first business today. Braden got the bright idea to have a lemonade stand this morning. We have no clue where this came from, but he was determined from the start. We went along with it, but we didn't have any lemonade! We had to go to the grocery store anyway, so we stocked up on lemonade and cups for our little entrepreneur! The neighbor kids helped too, so they had to split their earnings 4 ways. After 2 1/2 hours of service, they closed down shop with $8.00! They were ecstatic to take away $2 each, and they said they can do it again tomorrow! (We're not so crazy about that idea, but we'll tackle that issue tomorrow)

Here's our big boy sitting up! How about that! He just cut his third tooth this week. I have been bragging on him lately, but it's all true. He is the best baby, he's so happy. We may have to pay through the toddler phase, but he is just so good!

Landry and I got to go to a concert last night. We went with Misti and Jenna to see SuperChick in Dallas. It is a Christian group, but it's kind of alternative. Landry was a little intimidated by the tatoos and 80's rock look that the lead singers had! The music was crazy-loud, but she loved it. She'll be the one we have to keep our eye on when they get older. She was jumping up and down, raising her fist, and even head banging a little! As I would have guessed, she partied real hard and ran out of gas. Poor girl fell asleep with about 5 songs left!
