More than allergies...

Well, we were dealing with more than allergies last week. Landry ended up having pneumonia, which she has recovered from fully. It's amazing how resilient kids are. It scared me when the doctor said pneumonia, because people die from that all the time. She was 50% better after the first 24 hours of antibiotics, and 100% better after only a few days!

Now we have strep throat in the house. Jason is the only one with it now, and we are trying to limit our germ-sharing so the kids don't get it. Unfortunately, we adults have a harder time bouncing back from these bugs, so it's been a little rough around here.

The fun and exciting news of the day is that Braden has his first loose tooth. This morning he thought one of his bottom teeth was crooked. When I felt of it, I let him know that it is loose. He was so excited and pumped his fist saying, "Now, I'm gonna be 6!" Most of his classmates that have lost teeth are 6, so I guess he correlated losing a tooth with graduating to another birthday!! He's been working on it all day, so I'm sure it won't be long until the tooth fairy has to make an appearance!!

We are consistently calling this boy in my tummy Tripp, so I'm thinking that will probably be his name. Nothing is set in stone yet, of course, but we're all liking the sound of it. He moves around a lot which is a total joy. All else is well as far as I know!
