Braden and Landry are taking swim lessons this week. We were recommended to use this private teacher, and she has been great! Braden is learning all the strokes, how to float, etc. Landry is getting the basic concepts, but she can even make it to the side of the pool by herself if she needed to.
We had a busy 4th with swim lessons followed by more swimming with Papa and Gram at their neighbors' pool. I was not particularly excited about going to Granbury for the fireworks, but I'm so glad we did. They were fantastic this year. Braden was more interested in playing with the other kids and getting a lighted sword from the peddler. Landry Beth though, she absolutely loved them. She kept calling them firecracks. Her eyes would light up and her mouth was wide open in awe of the lights and sounds. She wanted to call Nana when we left to ask her if she was able to hear the firecracks from her house!
