Sum, sum, summertime

It finally feels like summertime around here. Landry is taking a dance class on Tuesdays, a time for she and her daddy to bond a little. While they do that, Braden and I have a date each Tuesday. This week we went to Jenny's pool for the first swim of the summer. Landry loved her dance class and she's ready to go buy her gear. She's wanted "tap-tap" shoes for several months. She used to put them on at Crosstown when the girls would play dress-up.

I'm trying to work 7-3 so that I don't feel like I miss so much of the action here at home. It should work out good considering that the crew often sleeps in past 8:00 (and I would expect that to turn into 9:00 fairly soon). Anyway, they've been finishing their naps by the time I get home in the afternoon, and they are re-charged for the second half of their day.

I want to figure out a way to be more consistent with the blog. One of Jason's cousins was reminding us about a phase one of the kids went through, and I had totally forgotten about it. I immediately thought of the blog and that this is the primary source where I record those memories. Better stick to it because the mush between my ears is not holding stuff as well these days!!!
