Almost 5

Our boy will be five years old tomorrow. Can that be right? I remember his sweet face when he was born. He had the biggest cheeks and long, skinny legs. He had one leg that frogged out for a few weeks because he was so cramped in my belly. Once he laughed for the first time, we knew he had a great laugh! Jason can be getting him still now, and we'll say, "He has such a great laugh!" Braden has a heart of gold. Even though he's a rough and tough boy, he is so thoughtful and soft-hearted. He is definitely molded as an oldest sibling: responsible, leader, patient, and also the rule-maker. "Here's what we do." How many times have I heard him say that to Landry when they are playing together!! I'm so proud of Braden... he's not a perfect kid, but he sure is becoming a fine young man!
