All in a Week!

I can't believe it's been a week since I last posted anything. Braden and Landry both went to the doctor on Tuesday, both having ear infections. The new pediatrician we are using suggested getting back in with the ENT ASAP for Landry's left ear. That worked out perfectly, because someone had cancelled their 9:00 Wednesday appointment. We love Dr. Bryan, but he is located all the way up in Southlake. I took off work on Wednesday to take Landry up there. He said just what we expected, "It won't correct itself." She will have her tubes replaced and adenoids taken out on Friday, February 9th. So, since I don't have any paid time off to use with this new company, I worked Saturday to make up for Wednesday. Then, I worked today (Sunday) to make up for next Friday when she has her little surgery. The week was filled with fevers, runny noses, and lots of coughing. I am convinced that they had a viral infection on top of everything else, because both got a long-lasting fever after being on antibiotics.

Both kids have been well all day. They are running around like normal little children after a week of one or the other of them not feeling well. We're hanging out watching the Super Bowl. I skirted the Prince performance to give Landry a bath and blog a little. Have I mentioned that Braden is showering himself these days? Oh, the beauty of independence!!
