Buck fever

Jason had the most wonderful time on his hunting trip. He said the deer were everywhere. This buck was a 10 point that he shot on his first morning out. He also shot a spike, which was requested by the host! It was awesome for him because this was his first deer to ever shoot! He said he'll make sure that Braden gets to experience that before he is 32 years old!
Today is decision day for me. I have had the luxury of working for a big corporation for a little over a year. They have all the perks you would expect from a big corporation, but there's also the downside of not having much say in anything. That being said, our contract with the building I work in has been cancelled, effective December 31. The new company coming in to the building is coming today to talk to us. I'd love to stay where I'm at, but we'll just have to see what this new company has to offer. I had an interview with a home health company in Granbury yesterday. They seemed like they have some really neat opportunities, as they are growing and developing new programs. I hope to "just know" by today what I need to do!
The kids are well! They are anticipating Christmas, and I think they've seen Santa 3 times now! Braden asked me the other day, "Momma, does Santa Claus know more than God?" It was confusing to him to learn that God knows everything. Then, he hears all this stuff about Santa "knowing you when you're asleep and when you're awake!" Landry has a new found love for books. She hasn't cared about books in her entire lifetime, and all of the sudden she is carrying one around the house all the time! It's great... I'm excited that she'll sit still long enough to have one read to her. Don't think that means the babies are being neglected though, they now have their own bed in her room!
That's all for now!
