Halloween

This year we had the Ninja Warrior and the Angel (devil in disguise)! Braden and Landry's cousin, Kayli is in the middle of the top picture. I love how they are stair-stepped in their sizes. We had a lot of fun over the weekend. There were two fall festivals for the kids and trick-or-treating on Tuesday night.

I'm preparing for my half marathon race. It is this Sunday at 8 a.m. in Dallas. The forecast as of right now says rain, but I'm holding out for dry, cool weather! I've been trying to eat extra-healthy food this week and drink lots of water. The drinking part is hard for me. I just don't drink very much.

What's up with the kids? They're just growing by leaps and bounds. Braden is such a fine boy. His behavior has been great lately, knock on wood. He loves school and is really learning good stuff. Landry is a little too big for her britches the majority of the time! She is convinced that she is the boss of this house. Braden told her this afternoon that she can only be the boss of her baby dolls. I love how God made two kids from the same parents so totally different! I love being their mom, and I love it that they need me so much. Remind me of that when one is tugging on my shirt and the other is begging me to hold them!!
