OKC

We've just returned from across the border... we went to Oklahoma City for the weekend. It was conveniently the Aggies' weekend to play Oklahoma State. Jason and I had it planned out for us to go to the game together. His cousin was going to ride with us and babysit the kids at the hotel while we were at the game. Well, she couldn't find anyone to cover her shift, so that didn't work out. So, Jason and Braden went to the game while Landry and I hung out. There just happened to be a mall across the road from our hotel, so we didn't have any complaints! The Ags won in overtime, what a great game as Braden's first attend an Aggie game!

We took our time getting back today. The kids swam in the indoor pool, and I spent some time in the hot tub. This was great for my legs. They were pretty stiff because I had done a 9 mile run just before riding in the car for 4 hours! We also stopped at Target in Ft. Worth to get some winter clothes for the kids. It's amazing how expensive it can be to get just a few outfits. (and I know it's only going to get worse!)

Braden's great story of the week came on Friday. As he's getting in his car seat after school he says, "I got Kaitlyn's phone number today." "What? Why did you get her number?" "Well, she just gave it to me." Makes sense right, but he's only 4! Landry's main story for the week is that she has graduated from having to take breathing treatments 4x/day. She had/has a nasty case of bronchitis and an ear infection. Yes, ANOTHER ear infection. We're praying this winter will be more healthy than the last!
