Superman and Lois

I was made aware of the fact that I have not blogged since September 25th. That really wasn't very long ago when time flies as fast as it does around here!

It's "D" week in the Brown Bears class, so that means we get to come up with Show and Tells that start with the letter D. Braden took his pet doodlebug today. He's been waiting a full week to take the poor doodlebug, so he was on his last leg!

We got to see Jason's stepbrother, Tony tonight. He was in town on business, so "the crew" went out to eat at Spring Creek! Tony was the blog informant, so this one is for the Austin bunch. I didn't even know they kept up with the blog!!

Our running group had an awesome run this weekend... 10 miles! Woo hoo! It was the best run I've ever had. The weather was perfect, and I paced it so much better than the week before. Actually, I sped up the last 2.5 miles and had a great finish. It was very reassuring about the Half Marathon we have in November. If I can do 10, I can certainly do 13!!

The kids are doing great. They love their school! Braden is SO into Superman that he doesn't know what to do without him. He hums the tune, talks about being Clark Kent and Superman, and begs to watch the movie daily! Landry is just into babies. She has fifty million baby blankets covering "napping babies" throughout the house. If you see a blanket with a bump under it, be quiet because one of her babies is sleeping there. And don't even think about picking up the blankets without telling her about it first! Legos and babies, that's her thing!
