Dream Report

Braden told me all about his dream from last night. First thing this morning, he starts telling me that he was playing music in his dream. "And I had a guitar with its own suitcase... and we were playing big music... but it wasn't this Braden, it was a grown up Braden." So, I'm thinking he is aspiring to be a rock star. Not quite. He continues on. "And there were cheerleaders there... the cheerleaders liked me... and I gave one of them a kiss... Not a marrying kiss, just a kiss on the cheek." Boy are we in trouble! He's only four and he's already dreaming about kissing the cheerleaders!

My work has settled down. We are staying put, thank goodness. The two corporations got together and signed a contract to stick around. YIPPEE! I have a patient that is making unbelievable gains right now, and that makes my job so rewarding! She is walking now, and that is just an incredible recovery for her!

Jason is staying busy with school and church. He got his annual raise, so that was exciting to see on our direct deposit! Of course, they don't pay any of the teachers what they deserve, but we'll take what we can get!

Lanny Lou is doing good. That's what I've been calling her lately. She seems to be an accident waiting to happen. Whether it's a mess of food/drink spilled down her front or a crash on the tile, she's in for it. Poor kid, she's just a bit accident prone! Tonight she walked into the door frame and hit it teeth first. You may ask how that would happen... it's just Landry!

I'm off to Dallas to run in a 10K race this weekend. Our running group entered as a team, so it should be a lot of fun. I also get to go shopping for scrubs. We have a "professional choice account" at work that covers continuing ed, books, and yes-scrubs!! Just found that out, so I have to spend my money by Tuesday before it renews. If you don't spend it, you lose it! Scrub shop, here I come!
