Fisher

Braden is quite the little fisherman. Of course he had a great advantage. The church hosted a "portable stock tank" full of 2-3 pound catfish today after church. Braden was so excited to catch one!

This weekend was scheduled to be a really busy one, but the weather allowed us a break. We were supposed to do the Relay for Life Friday night into Saturday morning, but the heavy thunderstorms threatened enough for them to cancel it! I was excited about doing it, and we put a lot of hard work into it, but I was also glad to get a break. I just don't do well with lack of sleep, and it was going to be inevitable if they had held the event. I actually got a nap Saturday AND Sunday!!

Landry has not felt well all weekend. She has had fever off and on, and just acting needy. I've asked her at least a thousand times if her ears hurt and she says no! I'll call first thing in the morning and get her an appointment anyway!

I totally blew the diet this weekend. I had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream on Saturday and Sunday (kind of went along with the nap theme). I had been discouraged because I've been busting my tail with all this running and working out on the Bowflex... and I've been eating really healthy. I just haven't lost the weight, so the bad guy on my shoulder told me to go ahead and have the ice cream! What a bad, bad guy! I'll try to get it back together tomorrow!

We had a big day today. The kids caught fish and jump in the bounce house, Jason got a hook his finger, and I just did mom stuff. Here's how Braden's day ended up!
