She'll kill me one day for ratting her out on all these things, but our daughter is absolutely hilarious. She has discovered how to walk on tip-toes and she quite enjoys it. Another discovery is the firm control of her gas expulsion. I can't imagine where she learned it with the boys in the house! Anyway, every time she toots, she'll say, "I tooted momma, I tooted again." She is so proud of her accomplishment! I know what you're thinking- not so lady-like- and we are trying to get a hold on it, but the gas seems to be everflowing through our children!
Jason and I had a date-night last night. We were supposed to go to the Christmas Party for my work, but it was postponed. Since we so conveniently had his mom lined up to babysit, we just kept her on the books and took a date. It had been a while since just the two of us did that. Jason asked if we should invite another couple, but I put my seldomly-put-down-foot down on that one. Just you and me tonight, babe. We went to see The Chronicles of Narnia. I'd love to read the books because the movie was full of symbolism and imagination, very cool. Then, we went out to eat at Pastafina, our favorite Italian this side of Fort Worth! Jason thought I was being a bit melodramatic with my shivering, but I got the cold bones coming out of the movies, and I just couldn't warm up.
So, the kids are at Nana's and I am up early to go make up time from the cold weather day Wednesday. I'm actually hoping this will be a great opportunity to get my pile of paperwork done. My desk is looking worse each day, and I just don't like being behind. It will be a short day of work, then home to the real work!! Stay warm.
