Shutter surprise

I drove home to a wonderful surprise today. Jason was outside hanging the last of the shutters along the front windows of our house! I have wanted them since we built the house, but it was one of those extra things that got put off! I am completely satisfied. They are black and look great!

Sunday was a busy day with church and an afternoon pecan prailine tutorial by my friend, Michelle. She makes the best prailines, so now I know the tricks. I'd love to try to make some for Christmas this weekend...we'll see. I spent at least an hour drinking pretend coffee and eating plastic eggs, french fries and sandwich with the kids. Landry loves her little kitchen. She is a great hostess too, you've got to try her coffee. Even if you don't want more, she just keeps making it and insisting that you take a drink! Braden has mastered the Darth Vader phrases that he speaks with his mask on. It's pretty funny to hear a 3 year old say, "you don't know the power of the dark side" and "I am your father."

I'm on a quest to write the lovely Christmas letter tonight. What we've done in 2005...
