Maybe tonight will be my night off. Some friends of ours asked us to watch their boys last night while they went to eat with some other friends. It was a pleasure though, because it was Caden and Carson. Carson is the little guy with leukemia, and he is doing SO well. His hair is growing back and his face is not so puffy from steroids. It is great to see him running and playing with the other kids!
I was out like a light last night, and I slept great. As soon as I got upright this morning, I started coughing. URGH! I wish I had my old immune system back! Landry now has the junk in her nose, so hopefully we can get to the ENT before she develops another ear infection. We go November 2.
Have I mentioned my man lately? He looks so good, and he is the best. He had supper on the table for all of us last night, cleaned up, and made the kids lunches before I could even turn around. I know that men have a bad reputation for being slugs once they get home from work, but Jason is not one of those guys... and I am very thankful! I can't imagine how a single mom would deal with all this stuff on her own, and it would probably be just as bad (or worse) to have a husband kicked back in the recliner flipping channels as all the stuff gets done!! AMEN.
