We had a great Halloween party last night. We chose to leave Landry with Nana and Pa-paw since she has a bit of a cold. Mr. Incredible came with us, and he had a great time! Hayride, scavenger hunt, hot dogs, s'mores, treat bags... oh, and sword fights!! The swords are quite clever. It is a very small diameter PVC pipe wrapped in pipe insulation, then wrapped with duct tape. The beauty is that they really don't hurt you when you get hit! There are all shapes, sizes, and colors. The guys can really get some testosterone flowing out there!!
We had another great church service yesterday at StoneWater. The set-up/tear down thing is running quite smooth! The afternoon held a short but very sweet nap for me! I just needed a little recharging.
We are planning to take the kids trick-or-treating tonight. My angel and Mr. Incredible that is! I wish we could go knock on doors and give away the candy we've already accumulated! Our kitchen counter is filled with candy and sweets, and I'm not very good and walking past candy! Something magnetic to my hand and then my mouth and it's got to stop soon!
